Road Ranger offers two levels of Rewards card membership:

Ranger Rewards

  • Basic Membership level.
  • Card is free.  No account maintenance fees, monthly or annual fees, no enrollment fees, etc. 
  • Card is not linked to your checking account and cannot be used to pay.
  • Receive 2 cents per gallon instant fuel discount at stores in IL, IN, IA, KY*, MO, OH.  *Participating Kentucky locations are Dry Ridge, Maysville, Tollesboro and Winchester.  Note: from time to time certain stores may have a higher discount amount for a promotional period. 
  • Every 7th coffee purchased is FREE (You must present your Rewards card to the cashier each time you purchase a coffee in order to qualify.)
  • You are instantly enrolled when you present your ID to cashier when you obtained your card. 
  • You can complete the enrollment process by clicking here.  Once completed you will have the ability to view and reprint your receipts, track savings to date, and edit your contact information and preferences.  From time to time we may make special promotions and opportunities available for our enrolled members. 
  • You can convert your card to a Ranger Rewards Debit card at any time should you choose to. 

Ranger Rewards Debit

  • Premium Membership level.
  • Card is free.  No account maintenance fees, monthly or annual fees, no enrollment fees, etc. 
  • Card is linked to your checking account and can be used as a payment card.
  • Card can also be used to get the “Basic” fuel discount should you elect to pay with another form of payment.  You have the freedom to choose to pay or not pay with your card as you wish. 
  • Receive 2 cents per gallon instant fuel discount at stores in IL, IN, IA, KY*, MO, OH when you do not pay with your card. * Participating Kentucky locations are Dry Ridge, Maysville, Tollesboro and Winchester.  Note: from time to time certain stores may have a higher discount amount for a promotional period. 
  • Receive 5 cents per gallon instant fuel discount at stores in IL, IN, IA, KY*, MO, OH when you pay with your card.  *Participating Kentucky locations are Dry Ridge, Maysville, Tollesboro and Winchester.  Note: from time to time certain stores may have a higher discount amount for a promotional period. 
  • For customer signing up after January 4th, 2011 get a voucher redeemable for a $25.00 gift card.  
  • Receive 3 cents per gallon Backend Rewards discount when you pay with your card at our stores in Wisconsin.  (Pump and receipt will not reflect discount at store, however when the money is drawn from your checking account it will be net of the discount.)

  • You are instantly enrolled in the Basic Program when you present your ID to cashier when you obtained your card.  You can complete the Basic enrollment process by clicking here. Once completed you will have the ability to view and reprint your receipts, track savings to date, and edit your contact information and preferences.  NOTE:  You do not need to do this to link your card to your checking account if you do not wish to.  Simply proceed to the next step.

Things to know/Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Ranger Rewards cards are presently issued and accepted at all Road Ranger locations in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky*, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. *Participating Kentucky locations are Dry Ridge, Maysville, Tollesboro and Winchester. 
  • In compliance with Wisconsin state laws and statutes we are unable to offer instant fuel discounts at our Wisconsin locations. Some other components of the Ranger Rewards program are also unavailable in Wisconsin.
  • Presently our location at the intersection of Riverside Blvd and Mulford Avenue in Loves Park, IL is offering a temporary 10 cent per gallon discount with the Ranger Rewards Debit card. 
  • After enrolling in the Ranger Rewards Debit card program by linking your checking account to your card and completing the verification process and five successful payment transactions you will be emailed a voucher redeemable for a $25.00 gift card.  Simply print the voucher and bring it to your most convenient Road Ranger location. 
  • How does the “verification” process work when I link my card to my checking account?
    • Step 1: When you enroll on the secure website, within a few days two transactions will be performed to your account to confirm the accuracy of the account information entered.  A very small deposit will be made (less than 10 cents) and then a smaller withdrawal will be made (always smaller than the deposit).  You will then need to log back in to the secure website to provide these two amounts for verification.  When the transactions occur an email will also be sent with an easy link to click to go back to confirm the amounts. 
    • Step 2: After the initial deposit/withdrawal verification is completed you can now use your card for a purchase at a Road Ranger store.  After that first purchase is made the account will be locked from making future purchases until the initial purchase clears your bank account. 
    • Step 3: After the first transaction has cleared you may now freely use your card within normal limits.
  • What are the “Normal Limits”?
    • Customers may perform (4) transactions per day, (10) transactions per week. 
    • The daily per transaction limit is $100 per transaction.  The daily aggregate limit (sum of all transactions for that day) is $150. 
    • The weekly aggregate transaction $ limit is $500 in any week. 
  • Can the limits be changed or removed?
  • Can I use my card at any other business? 
    • No.  This card is exclusive to Road Ranger, L.L.C.
  • What happens if I do not have enough money in my checking account to cover a purchase but my purchase goes through?
    • Our card processor or their associates will attempt to collect the purchase amount plus an NSF fee which varies by state.  Current (as of 12/29/2010) NSF fees are:  IL - $25, IN - $20, WI - $35, OH - $30, KY - $50, MO - $25, IA - $30

  • Why did you ask for my driver’s license when I picked up my card? 
    • In order to provide the best discounts possible we designed our program with the lowest possible administrative costs.  A heavy administrative aspect of many loyalty and rewards programs is the hand entry of customer information at the time of sign-up.
    • We developed our innovative system of scanning your name and address from your driver’s license so you don’t have to be bothered to fill out a paper application, or hold up the line at the register while our associate enters your information. 
    • The ONLY information we scan from your license is your:
      • First Name
      • Middle Name
      • Last Name
      • Address
      • Address 2
      • City
      • State
      • Zip
      • Doc Type (e.g. state or government body who issued your ID)
      1. WE DO NOT COLLECT or store your driver’s license or ID number, expiration or issue date, class, restrictions, your photograph, or ANY other information from your identification. 
      2. If you would prefer not to present your ID at sign-up, you are welcome to email us at loyalty@roadrangerusa.com and we will be more than happy to mail you a card without requiring your identification. 
  • I lost my card.  Who do I call? 
    • If you lost your Ranger Rewards basic card you may simply stop in your favorite Road Ranger and pick up another. 
    • If you lost your Ranger Rewards Debit card please call our card processor at (877) 403-2222 to have your old card deactivated and coordinate getting a new card linked to your account. 
  • I changed cards/bank accounts/etc.  How do I correct?
